The Lawrenceburg Modern Quilt Guild (LMQG) was founded in 2018 as a member of the Modern Quilt Guild.

The Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) developed out of the thriving online community of modern quilters and their desire to start meeting in person. The founding guild was formed in Los Angeles in October of 2009. Through blogs and the Internet, word spread quickly of the fun they were having and soon guilds started popping up everywhere.

You are welcomed at 11 monthly meetings a year with fun, information, educational demos plus Share and Tell. There are opportunities for sew-ins, trips, service projects, and discounts. It also includes membership in The Modern Quilt Guild national organization with all of its benefits including online classes, groups and all kinds of other resources. Visitors may attend up to two meetings to learn more about us before joining the guild and paying the annual dues.

 

The MQG is a nonprofit corporation with IRS 501c3 status.
